This course is designed to expose the students to broader experience in the literary values of different countries. It covers the study of the greatest contributions of greatest writers to world Literature suited to masterpieces and other literary forms. A variety of selections are taken from Asia and Western literature suited to provide lessons for appreciation of artistic and moral values that are universally acceptable and understood in the light of culture. This course provides the fundamental knowledge and skills in designing and managing data communication and computer networks. Emphasis is on the 7 layers of Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model and TCP/IP. Topics include introduction to LANs, WANs, service provider packets and IP addressing.

This course provides an overview of data structures and algorithm analysis in the context of data organization and processing and in providing better solutions to real-world programming problems. Emphasis is on data manipulation using linear and non-linear data structures. Topics include review of linear data structures; trees;  graphs; and their applications

This course covers the principles behind databases, data models and database analysis and design. Emphasis is on the relatonal database managment system. Topics include database theory, normalization, entity relationships, object-oriented data model and structured query language.
