Emphasis is on planning, preparing and creating documents; and collecting, evaluating and documenting sources of information. Topics include technical research; writing process; brief correspondence; document design and graphics; writing for the web; professional branding; employment communication; and presentations.

This course covers the principles and theories of entrepreneurship in technology ventures, which is about commercializing technology ideas into viable enterprises. Emphasis is on lean startup methodology. Topics include idea generation, customer validation, building minimum viable product, business model, and elevator pitch.

This course provides mathematical foundations required for successful quantitative analysis of problems in the field of business computing. Emphasis is on the mathematical prerequisites for understanding probability, statistics, discrete and continuous distributions. Topics include statistical measures, combinatorial mathematics and functions, and probability theory.
